AI

Assistant, 123 Oak St

Demo thread

Simulation

You are texting a simulated assistant for a made-up listing at 123 Oak St: 3 bed, 2 bath, 1,840 sq ft, built 1998. Ask about the property, about selling, or something it should refuse to answer.

This is a simulation

Replies come from a fixed script, picked by keyword from what you type. There is no language model behind it and no CRM or calendar connected. The real assistant answers from your own listing facts and standard answers, and writes the conversation back to your CRM. What is worth judging here is where it stops: the refusals and the handoffs are the same ones it makes in production.

What to watch for

The interesting part of a lead assistant is not the sentences it produces. It is where it stops.

It says what it is

The first reply identifies it as an assistant. Ask it directly whether it is a bot and it will tell you again.

It refuses the wrong questions

Ask about schools, safety, a neighborhood comparison, mortgage rates or what the sellers would accept. It declines and routes to a human instead of guessing.

One question at a time

Every reply ends with a single question. Two questions in one text gets you one answer at best.

It closes on a time

Once the basics are answered it offers specific slots rather than asking you to suggest one.

Showing booking

The step a qualified conversation ends on

Booking runs through a Cal.com embed or your own scheduling link. Cal.com is MIT licensed, so this is an embed rather than a fork of their stack.

Book a showing

This is the booking step a qualified lead reaches at the end of a conversation.

Slots come from your real calendar with travel buffers applied. A blocked afternoon stops being offered.

Rules applied to every slot

  • Travel buffer before and after, set per market
  • Minimum notice window, so nobody books 20 minutes out
  • Daily cap, so Saturday does not become nine appointments
  • Your calendar is the only source of availability

Run it on one of your own lead sources

The trial connects a single source so you can read the first ten real threads before opening anything else.

Accounts are not open yet. Joining the waitlist takes an email address and nothing else.
